You hear and know the voice of God!

John 10:3-5; 27: Jesus clearly stated that we all (believers) hear and know His voice, and by extension the voice of God the Father.

Thus, when it seems like we can't hear His voice, differentiate it from other voices around, or simply don't know his voice, that's not the truth. Jesus is!

What we do at those times is rejoice in Him, knowing that our faith (that He and not our experience is true) is being tested.
When we keep rejoicing, sticking to our confession of faith, sooner than later, His voice will distill as the dew!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Getting Better Everyday

The Bible says the just shall live by faith: Rom.4:17 and that the path of the just is as the shinning light that "shineth more and more unto the perfect day": Prov. 4:18. It simply means that by walking by faith, the life of the just keeps getting brighter and better everyday! Start today, to live life by faith by continuously meditating on, speaking God's word, and giving thanks!

Believers are not meant to suffer accidents or mishaps

Psa. 91:11-12 (KJV):For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
Dashing one’s feet against a stone is usually the result of a mishap, something unplanned. The phrase is therefore used figuratively to refer to accidents and unfortunate events.
Therefore when the Scripture above says that angels shall bear us up in their hands lest we dash our feet against a stone, it clearly tells us that the ministry of angels prevent us from suffering any and all forms of accidents.
Angels are ministering spirits sent forth to minister unto us who are heirs of salvation: Heb. 1:14. One of the things they minister to us is protection: Mt.26:47-53; 2Ki.6:12-17; Ps.34:7. It behooves us then to be conscious of and take advantage of the ministry of angels by walking in faith for we are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation: 1Pt. 1:5. We believers are the ones who fear God and ha…

Eternal Life begins Now!

Jesus stated that one of the reasons He came was so that we could have eternal life:

(Joh 10:10 KJV) … I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

(Joh 6:40 KJV)  And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

(Joh 3:16 KJV)  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

This eternal life (also rendered everlasting life) is life that has no beginning or end; one that continues in perpetuity. But it is not just an endless life, it is the very life that the Father and the Son have: John 5:26; 1:14; 6:54; 2 Tim.1: 1; 1 John 5:10- 12. It is Jesus Christ, the Son: John 5:39; 14:6; and the Father (for the Son is the Father): 1 John 5:20; cf. John 1:1- 3; 1 John 1:1,2.
Accordingly, we can expect that this life is a rich, abundant, overflowing …

The Blessings of His Word

There are so many blessings to be enjoyed by dwelling in the word of God. Here are just a few of them.

Wealth and Riches
(Psa 119:162 KJV)  I rejoice at thy word, as one that findeth great spoil.
If he rejoices at it as one that finds great spoil, it means it is extremely valuable.

(Pro 10:22 KJV)  The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.
When God blesses one, He blesses with His word, therefore His word is His blessing. In fact, the word “blessing” involves speech.

(Psa 19:10 KJV)  More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
If they are to be more desired than gold, even more than much fine gold, then it means that they are far more valuable than gold. Anything that is far more valuable than gold is in itself a type, means and source of wealth encompassing even monetary riches.

Evergreen, fruitfulness, prosperity
(Psa 1:2 KJV)  But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law dot…
